Fix Memory Full Problem in Android

Here you can fix phone memory full or phone storage is full Problem in Android phone.

If you are experiencing a “Memory Full” or “Storage Full” problem on your Android phone, it means your device’s internal storage is running low or nearly full. Here are some steps to help free up storage space and resolve the issue:

  1. Check Storage Usage: Go to “Settings” > “Device care” or “Device maintenance” > “Storage” to check how much storage is used and what is consuming the most space. This will help you identify which files or apps are taking up the most space.
  2. Clear App Cache and Data: Some apps accumulate cache and data over time, which can consume a significant amount of storage. Clearing app cache and data can help free up space.
    • Go to “Settings” > “Apps.”
    • Select the app that is taking up too much space.
    • Tap on “Storage.”
    • Tap “Clear cache” and “Clear data” (or “Clear storage”).
  3. Uninstall Unused Apps: Remove apps that you rarely or no longer use.
    • Go to “Settings” > “Apps.”
    • Select the app you want to uninstall.
    • Tap “Uninstall.”
  4. Move Media to External Storage: If your Android phone has a microSD card slot or supports external storage, you can move photos, videos, and other media files to the external storage to free up internal space.
  5. Delete Unnecessary Files: Manually go through your files and delete any unnecessary photos, videos, documents, or downloads.
  6. Use Cloud Storage: Upload your photos, videos, and other files to cloud storage services like Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive. This will allow you to access them from the cloud and free up space on your device.
  7. Clear Downloaded Files: Delete any downloaded files that you no longer need.
    • Go to “Settings” > “Device care” or “Device maintenance” > “Storage.”
    • Tap “Files” or “Downloads.”
    • Select the files you want to delete and tap “Delete” or the trash bin icon.
  8. Remove Offline Maps: If you have downloaded offline maps in apps like Google Maps, consider deleting them if you don’t need them anymore.
  9. Clear Cache Partition (Android System Cache): Clearing the system cache partition can help free up space and resolve some performance issues.
    • Turn off your Android phone.
    • Press and hold the Volume Up, Power, and Home buttons together until the Android logo appears.
    • Use the Volume Down button to navigate to “Wipe cache partition” and press the Power button to select it.
    • Press the Volume Down button to highlight “Yes” and press the Power button to start the cache partition wipe.
    • Once the process is complete, “Reboot system now” will be highlighted. Press the Power button to restart your phone.
  10. Factory Reset (last resort): If the above steps don’t resolve the “Memory Full” problem, you can perform a factory reset to clear all data and start fresh. However, remember to back up all your important data before proceeding.
  • Go to “Settings” > “General management” > “Reset” > “Factory data reset.”
  • Tap “Reset” > “Delete all.”

After following these steps, your Android phone should have more available storage space, and the “Memory Full” issue should be resolved.
